Sour Snakz

Trader Joes sells high quality, affordable, organic products ranging from body butter to afternoon munchies. One of our favorite snacks are the Sour Strawberry Candy Belts. They are neatly lined up in rows in a plastic box. Each belt comes sprinkled with a coat of sugar and filled with a strawberry flavor. 

With no artificial colors or flavors, they can be considered slightly healthier in comparison to your typical candy containing Red 40. However, these sour snacks aren't around all season. They are inconsistently found on shelves, usually around summer, sometimes making random appearances. Some netizens have even complained that the flavor and texture has varied since their first release. Many complain that they’re no longer as sour as they used to be, “...now it’s just sweet strawberry belts.”
Regardless of their “sour level rating” we still give these candy belts two thumbs up. They're fun to share with friends and roll up. 

Whether you enjoy sour candy or not, we can all agree that a good snack can bring us together during this holiday season.
