October Horoscopes

For you, most of October is going to be about being ~honest~ to yourself and others, so if you need to decorate the first day of October, don’t be ashamed! And if you aren’t in the spooky spirit till last minute, you can always use your Aries impulsiveness as a guide.

If you can keep yourself organized, October will be a very successful month for you! So plan when you’re decorating and begin thinking of a costume soon.

I have a sneaking suspicion you want a lot of Halloween decor this year, but your creative projects really need a plan with the right limits. Go visit the local dollar store and start looking at the cheap stuff they have there to make your ideas come to fruition.

October is going to be a time of grounding yourself so if you are having trouble getting into the Halloween spirit, that’s okay! Just buy a pumpkin scented candle and put a bit more orange in your wardrobe.

You will be working on communication this month, in addition to finding out how to manage the communication mistakes you’ve made recently. Make sure you give that group costume your full attention, and tell your parents before you put some obnoxious blow-up pumpin on the lawn.

You may be experiencing some money problems this month. Go for that James and the Giant Peach DVD over renting some bad horror movie, and make cookies from scratch, despite how delicious the Pillsbury Ready-to-Bake ones are.

You have a lot of commitments you are balancing this month that may take up a lot of your time. Set aside a day to watch that nostalgic horror movie you’ve been meaning to watch, or download the audiobook to that Steven King novel you’ve been wanting to read. Anything to get you spooked and set for the 31st.

This may be hard to hear, but you may have to skip a few parties here and there to keep yourself sane during October. You need to get your ducks in a row and that requires some alone time. But it’s okay if you don’t get into the spirit early because you tend to like Christmas more than Halloween anyway.

Social obligations are a large part of this October for you, Sagittarius. To me, this sounds like prepping that party you were thinking about now so it will be a full on fiesta by the 31st.

You will be able to get through the work-like obligations of this month with ease. WIth all that free time you could decorate or watch a movie, but you will probably just be cynical about Halloween instead.

You are going to have a very productive October. It won’t feel like that at first because you won’t get that immediate gratification you are used to, but it will all be worth it in the end. If you need help getting in the spirit, try to read some fun short stories or try that spooky ritual game you wanted to do last year but were too scared to.

As a Pisces myself, I know you have probably already started getting into the Halloween spirit. I recommend visiting Atlas Obscura to find some local spooky locations, like Ponyhenge in Lincoln, MA. However, if you’re using this as a means of procrastination, which you most likely are, you should probably take it easy.
